Just rewatched "Mountaintop Motel" aka "Mountaintop Motel Massacre". I clearly remember watching this film as a kid and being absolutely horrified and it actually gave me nightmares for a few days. Sadly that's not the effect over 20 years later and the film feels mediocre at best. I enjoyed the atmosphere but the story lacks tension and it gets a bit tedious as there's nothing too original going on. For me "Mountaintop Motel" is worth a watch for obvious nostalgic reasons but I can't really recommend it for others. I also think it's kinda funny that they just slapped an image of the Bates Motel on the cover of this VHS😊
