Hey everyone! I hope you’re all having a killer Week. I just finished up a tiring, yet productive work day, I decided to pop in the first entry in one of the more unique double features from the last few years. I absolutely loved the original slasher take on the Groundhog Day concept. It was stylish, didn’t take itself too seriously, while avoiding outright comedy, and was overall just a fun time. Though the sequel wasn’t quite as strong as the original, I still enjoyed the hell out of it. I loved how they changed up the feel, incorporating a weirdly emotional, heavier on the sci-fi angled approach to the horror tinged proceedings.
