I can’t believe this film is already seven years old 😮As I was browsing through my collection I was overcome with the sudden and irresistible urge to revisit this totally singular, completely out there sci-fi thriller. To say this film is in a league of its own would be an understatement, but for those who haven’t seen it and need a solid point of reference, think of it as an artsy, beautiful, ominous version of Species. Scarlet is excellent here, and it’s one of her performances that really shows just how good she can be with the right material. For those without much patience, this one is definitely not for you, but anyone excited at the prospect of a slow burn, unique, dark sci-fi experience, give it a look.
