Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a great weekend. It’s a lazy Saturday afternoon over here at the vault, and I’m feeling a little nostalgic today (what’s new? 😅). For me, it doesn’t get much better than the epic 90’s Robin Williams double feature of Jumanji and Hook. These are without a doubt two of my favorite childhood films, and to this day they really hit me in the feels every single time I watch them. I actually just recently picked up the 4K edition of Hook, and am stoked to finally get to see the new transfer in all of its glory. Hook has some of the most amazing practical effects and set designs I can think of, and I can’t wait to see the food fight sequence and the ship interiors in particular.
