“LOSE YOUR INNOCENCE... OR LOSE YOUR LIFE!!!” Hello again everyone! I hope you’re all having a killer day, and have been able to carve out a little bit of time to watch something you love. I’ve been on a massive 90’s horror kick, and as I was browsing for films from that time I’ve never seen, I came across this super awesome, super underrated 2000 slasher gem, Cherry Falls. I completely missed this one at release, and have been meaning to watch it for the last couple of years (what’s new?😅). I’m stoked I finally did! This is an awesome, super entertaining, at times quite funny and thought provoking slasher. The mere premise alone of a serial killer targeting virgins is a wonderful subversion of the typical slasher, and while I saw the ending coming 10000 miles away, it was still effective and a lot of fun. It’s always a little creepy to see performers that have passed away so prematurely in their prime, but I thought Brittany Murphy was magnetic here. What about all of you? Anyone else see this little talked about slasher? @shoutfactory
