The Omega Man (Blu-ray)

With all of the madness of the C-Virus (it sounds more Umbrella Corporation, so I’m gonna call it that from now on!) spreading around the globe, it seems I have also fallen ill. The prognosis is that I’ve been bitten and infected with a particularly virulent strain of pathogen that appears to increase exponentially my desire to watch 70’s apocalyptic sci-fi 😎Logan’s Run, Silent Running, Soylent Green... I could go on and on. There’s a very specific flavor to those films and their contemporaries, and when I get the urge to watch one, I generally have the same impulse to watch them all. Omega man is one of several Heston fronted entries, and it’s definitely one of my favorites. I’m a huge fan of “everyone in the world is dead” scenarios, and this films sense of totally and complete isolation is second to few. Massive fan of this one. Anyone else?
