All right, on to another first time watch, this time around we have what appears to be the next eccentric entry to the untouchable Willem Dafoe’s eclectic filmography. From what I can tell, this one is a bit of a Terrence Malick influenced art house biographical drama about the life of the infamous Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh. With a supporting cast that include such greats as Mads Mikkelson and current Hollywood darling Oscar Issac, there’s no way this one can be a stinker. Anyone else given this one a spin?
