Clerks (Blu-ray)

Hey everyone! So I just jumped online and started seeing bluray listings for the new Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, and it triggered an irresistible urge to revisit my childhood and take a trip down memory lane with a full series marathon, beginning with this classic inaugural entry in the legendary View Askewniverse! Given the fact that I’ve worked in retail for the majority of my work life, this film hits all the right notes for me. The sharp, irreverent black humor, completely free of pretension or modern societal comedic limitations, is still consistently hilarious to this day. While the sequel was its own way hilarious, I’ll always have a soft spot for Clerks as one of my favorite Kevin Smith flicks. It just never gets old. What about all of you??? Are you excited for the newest entry in the legendary Viewaskewverse??? I’m seriously considering snatching a couple of tickets to the road show in Oakland, as I’ve heard nothing but great things
