So it took me a while, but I finally got around to checking out Ford VS Ferrari, and was extremely impressed and pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it! I had pretty much zero interest whatsoever in seeing the one, as I’m not much of a fan of racing in general, but of course I’m a massive fan of Christian Bale and Matt Damon, so I thought I’d give it a watch. With fantastic racing scenes that really capture a sense of momentum and speed, a solid cast of both easily likable and equally despicable characters, a superb pacing, with immaculate period recreation... this one has it all! Absolutely killer film through and through!
