“IS IT A GAME, OR IS IT REAL?” All right everyone, good morning to you all and happy Saturday! It’s early, the coffee is on, and I’m enjoying a beautifully gloomy calm before a raging heat wave storm that’s due to arrive later on today. I thought I’d start out the morning with the early 80’s Cold War themed sci-fi classic, WarGames. I remember seeing Ferris Bueller’s Day Off for the first time as a kid and instantly loving anything and everything Matthew Broderick from that point forward. Naturally, when browsing the local Blockbuster video and seeing this beauty on the shelf, I had to grab it. I loved everything about the film, and definitely recall renting it again at least a handful more times. Although it’s been at least 20 years, probably more, since the last time I’ve given it a spin, I have nothing but fond memories and can’t wait to take another dive in and see what I see. It’s always a particular blast to see these early roles from your favorite childhood actors 😁🤘😎 How about all of you? Any WarGames fans?
