Hey again everyone! I hope you are all having a killer day. Work is done, I’ve got a nice stir fry on the stove with an awesome podcast about crystal skulls on in the background. All in all, it’s looking like a chill afternoon, and to top it all off, the post man showed up with a couple of random goodies that were out in the ether just waiting for me to snatch up. Somehow, I’ve never actually seen Assassins, as it was never a mainstay in my TV watching Blockbusting youth. Always a blast to see a time capsule you missed, and of course Antonio is the man! Daylight on the other hand, was another childhood staple, and I remember watching it a good dozen times or more. It’s such an awesome mixture of disaster movie and action, with Stallone just selling it with peak star power. I can’t imagine it won’t hold up, but it has been a good 20 years, so we’ll see 😂 Any other fans of these less talked about mid 90’s Stallone flicks?
