Hey again all! Something a little different this time around 😎 So, after months of drooling anticipation, completely forgetting about it’s existence, then being reminded about it a few weeks back, this rare and elusive thing called a brand new concert bluray has arrived on my doorstep! One of my favorite things growing up was the coveted concert DVD. I remember buying bootleg Cradle of Filth tour VHS tapes from the local swap meets, as well as investing in a seemingly endless number of professional quality “unofficial” re: bootleg concerts on CD. It was great times, and you never knew what kind of goodies you’d find. Concerts thrived on DVD, and to this day, the only ones in my collection are concerts that don’t exist on bluray, and likely never will. Since the shift to mostly streaming of online concerts that live on YouTube or other services, the market for these physical releases has almost completely collapsed. I watched about half of the concert earlier, and it’s nothing but floor stopping Kamelot classics. Too tier video and audio, word cksss setlist, and beautiful deluxe physical packaging with a photo booklet, a useless DVD, and two CDs. All in all, a classic, throwback concert release, I’m beyond stoked to add it to the small but quality collection!
