The Evil of Frankenstein (Blu-ray)

Item image

Hey everyone! He’s early Friday morning on the first day of my weekend, and I was feeling both a little nostalgic and spooky. I figured this was the perfect time to show off and throw on my newest Scream Factory collector’s edition arrival, the third entry in the iconic Hammer Frankenstein series, The Evil of Frankenstein. I’m a massive Hammer fan across the board, but can’t be considered even close to an authority on the subject, having seen only a fraction of their massive output. That said, I grew up on more than a few of the classics, and have made it a point to begin chipping away at the catalogue over the last few years. As far as the Frankenstein films starring the iconic Peter Cushing, I’ve only ever seen Frankenstein Created Woman oh account of it also being a Scream Factory collector’s edition. Predictably, I loved every moment of it, and am stoked to check out this earlier entry in all of its glory. Any other fans of the Hammer Frankenstein films or Hammer horror films overall? @shoutfactory

That one detail — Sega shipping games in hard plastic clamshells while Nintendo was still using cardboard — is half the argument for the Mega Drive as your first serious Sega collection. The other half: this was Europe's 16-bit machine, and today's PAL supply reflects it. Sega won Europe with the Mega Drive in a way it never managed in Japan. For a collector, that dominance means abundance: consoles, l
