Hello everyone and happy spooky Sunday to you all! As always, the coffee pot is on and the brew is strong ☕️the hour is young, and I thought that today would be just the day to showcase this epic double feature of cinematic perfection. The original Doom is an experience that, simply put, stands peerless at the apex of film history. With legendary performers such as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Karl “Growlypants” Urban heading up the proceedings, complete with nail biting sci-fi horror, groundbreaking digital and practical effects, as well as innovative first person cinematography, there really is no touching this one. From everything I’ve heard, Doom: Annihilation carries on the original films legacy in much the same way other classic titles have assumed the responsibility of the Annihilation mantle: with esteem and unyielding excellence (see: Mortal Kombat!). So without further ado, it’s time to revisit at least one of these cinematic treasures. Have you had the pleasure of experiencing these masterworks? On a scale of Excellent to Masterpiece, what did you think of these???
