HAPPY BELATED 60th BIRTHDAY TO THE ONE AND ONLY PSYCHO!!! I’m a day late, but that’s okay, every day is a good to to celebrate a classic! There’s very little I can say about the original that hasn’t been said before, it’s an all time, infinitely watchable thriller of the highest order. The sequels, particularly Psycho II and IV are just phenomenal genre gems that, while far from the impeccable masterpiece of the original, are their own kind of iconic. The remake I can take or leave, but definitely don’t dislike it to the extent that many do. Let’s not forget the 10/10 epic TV adaptation Bates Motel either, as it’s easily one of the best alternate takes on an established mythology I’ve ever seen. How about all of you?
