Night Train + The Midnight Meat Train (Blu-ray)

Item image

“THE NEXT STOP MAY BE YOUR LAST!” So it looks like it’s another train horror themed kind of day. Although I only watched both of these for the first time just a few short months ago, both films were catapulted straight to the ever expanding list of favorite films, with Midnight Meat Train being my favorite of the pair. Both films are incredibly atmospheric, both have an intriguing central mystery to keep you hooked, and speaking of hooks, both films (again, particularly Midnight Meat Train!) contain plenty of gnarly, essential genre staples such as blood, guts, knives, and oh the gore. I can easily see myself rotating these two a few times a year going forward, indefinitely. I don’t know how I slept on these for so long, but if I did, that means others have, so get on it!

The other half: this was Europe's 16-bit machine, and today's PAL supply reflects it. Sega won Europe with the Mega Drive in a way it never managed in Japan. For a collector, that dominance means abundance: consoles, l
