About Topps

Topps began as a chewing-gum company in Brooklyn and put its first full baseball set out in 1952. For four decades it effectively was the American card market, and its 1952 Mantle remains the most famous piece of cardboard in the hobby.

In Europe the name is better known for Match Attax and Champions League stickers. Both ends of that history turn up here, and the vintage cards are almost always the ones worth grading.
