In the 80s, Nintendo made a series of visual novels exclusively for the Famicom, but in recent years they have decided to remake several of these titles, and introduce them to western audiences. Emio: The Smiling Man is not a remake however; it's the first, brand new addition to this revived franchise in 27 years, and is one of very few horror games produced by the big N themselves. We personally hate visual novels, but supposedly this one is really good - so if you like to read, give it a go!
