Here’s the @hotwheelsofficial Mario Kart Metal Mario SDCC exclusive racer. As much as I like it, it also irritates me because there’s very few people who will have a chance of getting one or let alone afford one. I absolutely loathe convention exclusives and getting this guy did not come without a headache given that a gold version was unveiled just prior to the convention making scalpers scramble to buy them up for a chance of getting one to scalp at ridiculous prices. I really don’t understand the purpose of these other than offering the conventions a reason to keep going but the only winners here are the scalpers who don’t care about the conventions other than the profits they aim to gain from such exclusives. It’s a fail for everybody in my opinion. Us loyal fans deserve better. My two cents
