Let’s look at this year’s second Nintendo @hallmark Keepsake ornament, Princess Peach. Is she a parasol of shade or a bright ray of light? Let’s find out! Princess Peach comes packaged in a nice cleanly designed box. In it, she’s wrapped in tissue and held in place in a plastic shell. At first glance this ornament is gorgeous. It is nicely sculpted and carefully crafted. It is very nice to have her in this pose in which she is holding her parasol over her shoulder. I can’t think of any other figure of her in this iconic pose. Her build is a bit fragile constructed of hollow plastic, metal wire, and adhered parts. Lots of care should be exercised when handling her. Like Bowser, her finish employs a mix of finishes, however, they aren’t as spread around on Peach. Notably, the jewels on her crown, ear rings, and necklace all have a glossy finish. So does the cane of her parasol. Above her crown is the screw eye from which to hang her on your tree. Thankfully, it has a small footprint and comes in a gold toned finish to blend it in with her crown. This makes it perfect for using her as a tree ornament or display figure. She stands at approximately 3” tall offering her in a size you don’t normally see her. Overall, this ornament brings us an amazing sculpt for Peach with a mix of nice finishes and display options, however, she is very fragile and must be handled carefully reducing her keepsakeability (I made up that word).
