Pokémon Conquest – Nintendo DS Pokémon Conquest is a unique tactical RPG that combines the Pokémon universe with the classic strategy game Nobunaga’s Ambition. The result is a different kind of Pokémon game, where you not only fight in real time, but instead command your Pokémon in turn-based strategic battles on a grid-based map. In the game you travel through the Ransei region, where different warlords control each their own area. Your goal is to recruit allies, conquer territories and become the strongest leader in the region. Each warlord is connected to certain Pokémon, and the relationship between trainer and Pokémon plays a major role in battles. You build armies of Pokémon and must think tactically about positioning, types, abilities and terrain to win the battles. This makes the game markedly different from traditional Pokémon games and provides a deeper strategic experience.
