Club Nintendo Hanafuda Card Set

Here is an interesting item in my collection. It’s a deck of cards known as Hanafuda or “Flower Cards.” It is used to play a game called koi-koi. This one is a modern iteration that incorporates Super Mario characters in the deck’s special card designs. It was offered as a reward on Club Nintendo for both eastern and western markets. Nintendo’s long history includes the manufacturing of these cards and to this day, continues to make them.
