Most people would probably call for help or at least put the book down. Light has another idea. He wants to be a god in a new world. It is a pretty drastic decision to make just because you found a notebook. Soon the police are chasing the mysterious Kira, L is on the trail, and Ryuk eagerly follows along as he eats apples and watches people make life unnecessarily complicated.
