- This item is used Description Dave Brown (Woody Harrelson) is a police officer in Los Angeles and part of the anti-gang unit, Rampart. For Brown, the end justifies the means when it comes to clearing the streets of criminals, and he is infamous for his hard attitude. When a journalist films Brown’s assault on a suspect, one of the biggest corruption scandals in US history unfolds, in which not only Brown but the entire Rampart division is charged with abuse of power, corruption, and drug trafficking. Rampart is based on the exposure of police abuse of power in the late 1990s in L.A.
