When the English aristocrat (Nicole Kidman) travels to this distant continent, she meets a rough cattle drover (Hugh Jackman) and a charming Aboriginal boy (Brandon Walters). This unlikely trio sets out on an overwhelming journey to drive a herd of cattle hundreds of kilometers through the world's most beautiful, yet also most unforgiving terrain. As their world is torn apart by fierce enemies, they must try to find each other while the Japanese army, which also attacked Pearl Harbor, bombs Darwin. With his new film, director Baz Luhrmann creates a painterly cinematic experience that blends comedy, romance, drama, and adventure. Region code B Running time in minutes 167 Production year 2008
