Full Metal Jacket

- This item is used Description A fantastic cast of actors shines in Stanley Kubrick's superb saga about the Vietnam War and the dehumanizing process that turns men into trained killers. Joker (Matthew Modine), Animal Mother (Adam Baldwin), Gomer (Vincent D’Onofrio), Eightball (Dorian Harewood), Cowboy (Arliss Howard) and others end up in a hell of a training camp, where they are thoroughly tormented by the exceptionally loud drill instructor (Lee Ermey), who effectively instills in the aspiring killing machines that they are tadpoles, maggots, or something even lower. The plot is grim, the story merciless, and the dialogue spiced with scorching humor. From the hell of basic training to the nightmare in Hue in Vietnam, Full Metal Jacket stands as a cinematic historic masterwork. Regions code Running time in minutes 117 Year of production 1987
