Brothers

- This item is used Description The American soldier, Sam Cahill, is deployed on duty in Afghanistan. His brother, Tommy, is an unemployed, drinking roughneck – not unmoved by his father’s favoritism toward his brother. When Sam’s helicopter is shot down in a mountainous region, his wife Nathalie’s world collapses back home in the USA. Unaware of the torturous conditions under which her husband is held captive and the horrors he is forced to commit as a prisoner of war, Nathalie fights to make a life for her two daughters. In Sam’s absence, Tommy grows close to the family and gradually fills the void his brother left behind. Tobey Maguire received a Golden Globe nomination for his portrayal of Sam, traumatized by experiences in an Afghan war zone, while U2 was nominated for a Golden Globe for the film’s title song, ’Winter’.
