Aliens

- This item is used Description It has been 57 years since Lt. Ripley (Weaver), the only one - besides the cat (!) - to survive, could go into hibernation and rest after the desperate battle against the terrifying Aliens. Now she is awakened by the intergalactic company that has meanwhile colonized the planet where she and the rest of the crew first encountered the universe’s most terrifying killing creatures. However, contact with the colony has been lost, and Ripley is sent with the rescue ship to investigate if something is wrong - and if so, what.... Unsurprisingly, human arrogance and greed have once again cost human lives - but Ripley’s fight for survival is only just beginning! This time it was James Cameron who directed it, and he did, so it - still today - takes many hours to get the pulse back to normal pace. The DVD contains both the original, theatrical version, and Cameron's Special Edition from 1991, which runs 20 minutes longer...
