It became such a huge success that it also produced a feature film: Ali G Indahouse, directed by Mark Mylod in 2002. It also made its way to Danish cinema screens in January 2003. The Borat film has made headlines and sparked political and ordinary debate worldwide. The background for the film's plot is that Borat, by the national television station in Kazakhstan, is sent to the USA to film a documentary. The film itself is a so-called mockumentary. Borat Sagdiyev is a lanky journalist in a sober gray suit, who on his unpredictable journey through the USA confronts a lot of ordinary people in everyday situations with his broken English and his staunch conservative prejudices – and most of those who have seen the film so far have found it hilariously funny.Dodgeball (2004)Peter LaFleur (Vince Vaughn) is a charming underachiever who owns the run-down health club Average Joe’s. When the egotistical, pompous White Goodman (Ben Stiller), who owns the stylish, ultra-modern Globo Gym health club, decides to take over Peter's modest place, among other things by using the beautiful lawyer Kate Veatch (Christine Taylor), Peter and his steady little clientele of social underachievers form a dodgeball team and compete in a tournament where the first prize is exactly the $50,000 that Peter needs to save Average Joe’s. When White learns of this, he naturally comes with his own super-team, convinced that he can steamroll the kids off the court. And thus the game is afoot – toward the big finale and its many surprising twists... Region code Edition Runtime in minutes 0 Production year 1900
