- This item is used Description CASINO ROYALE introduces JAMES BOND, before he has been licensed to kill. Bond is not any less dangerous for that, and with two professional murders, he is raised to "00" status. "M", head of British intelligence, sends the promoted 007 on his first mission, which takes him to Madagascar, the Bahamas and finally to Montenegro to meet Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen), a ruthless financier who is threatened by his terrorist clients and tries to win his money back in a very high-stakes poker game at Casino Royale. "M" places Bond under the careful supervision of the female civil servant at the treasury, Vesper Lynd. At first Bond is skeptical about the necessity of Vesper’s involvement in the mission, but as they brave various dangers together, Bond’s interest in her grows. Le Chiffre’s cunning and cruelty pose a greater challenge for them than Bond ever imagined, and he learns the most important lesson: Never trust anyone.
