I Love You Phillip Morris

- This item is used Description Based on a true story... No, really it is! Steven Russell (Jim Carrey) is a well-functioning middle-class man with a wife and child. But after a car accident he suddenly adopts a completely new outlook on life, and decides to move to sunny Miami and live a first-class life. It costs a gigantic overdraw on his line of credit and a stint in prison. Here he meets the sensitive Phillip Morris (Ewan McGregor) and falls in love at first sight. Jim Carrey dives into his career’s most surprising role as the lovestruck master swindler Steven Russell, who is constantly at odds with the law and devises the most incredible con tricks to get (money for) himself. All to be with his heart’s choice: the cute Phillip Morris. From mega-producer LUC BESSON and directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who were behind the successful comedy BAD SANTA, comes a funny, provocative and dark comedy about what can happen when the legal system, a hot-blooded guy and immortal love collide.
