The series follows a special division within NCIS that, using advanced new technology and dangerous missions, attempts to capture criminals who pose a threat to national security. With the help of false identities, special agent “G” Callen (Chris O’Donnell) infiltrates criminal environments and aims to be the division’s best agent – a reputation that almost cost him his life in a mysterious shootout. Together with his partner, the tough Sam Hanna (LL Cool J), a former Marine, and a team of skilled specialists, including medical examiner Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and the unit chief Hetty Lange (Oscar®-winning* Linda Hunt), they take on cases involving murder, espionage and weapon thefts – and chase the man who has placed a bounty on Callen’s head.
