- This item is used Description Nathan and Lucas Scott are half-brothers and estranged from one another. However, they live in the same small town in North Carolina. Nathan is a true basketball prodigy and he has also inherited his father’s popularity at school. Lucas is also a skilled basketball player, but he is an outsider. He is the son that their father, Dan, never really liked. When the brothers’ paths cross for the first time, there is a girl between them. It is Peyton Sawyer, Nathan’s beautiful girlfriend, who in reality probably has more in common with Lucas. Nathan, on the other hand, takes an interest in Lucas’s girlfriend Haley James. The situation becomes even more complicated by the boys’ social backgrounds. Nathan comes from a wealthy family, while Lucas’s family is much less privileged.
