Amity Island likes to advertise beaches, summer, and tourism. The brochure rarely says much about the enormous shark. The splatter design leans toward the rougher side of Jaws and fits the film perfectly, where idyllic beach holidays and panic on the shore lie uncomfortably close to each other.
