Bomberman 64 (Nintendo 64 - Hudson Soft - 1997 - EUR) As a sequel to one of my then favorite franchise, I had high expectations with Bomberman 64. The N64 already have a build-in multitap, so it seemed a perfect fit. Even if the game’s multiplayer mode is fun on its own right, it doesn’t recapture the madness of the 2D episodes. The feeling is just not the same, and I always felt puzzled by the dome shaped explosions versus the classic cross shaped blast. Bomberman 64 oddly shines in its solo campaign, far more interesting and fun than before. This shift from multiplayer to solo mode is definitely weird for a Bomberman game. ____________________ #gamesarchive #videogames #games #retrogaming #retrogamer #gaming #collection #vintage #retrocollection #gamingmemories #retrocollectibles #videogames #video #arcade #pixel #pixels #console #japan #oldgames #gameroom #recalbox #nintendo #nintendo64 #n64 #64bits #ultra64 #bomberman #bomberman64 #hudson #hudsonsoft
