Donkey Kong Land III (Game Boy - Rare - 1997 - FAH)

Donkey Kong Land III (Game Boy - Rare - 1997 - FAH) The one of the trilogy I’m the least familiar with. I haven’t really played the SNES version too, so that might explain that. And this raise the question: is the Game Boy port of a DKC game can stand on its own, or is it sentenced to be just a mere reflection of its home console model? Objectively, the game engine is the same as the previous entry, which was good, the graphics and musics are fine too, but I was never found of the premise of the third DKC installment. Maybe it came too late? Maybe I should get the Game Boy Color Japanese exclusive release? What do you think?
