Pokémon Blue (Game Boy - Game Freak - 1996 - FRA)

As a nearly identical game as Pokémon Red, the blue version suffers from the same problems. It is a personal opinion, but I find this game’s overall world counterintuitive. For example, I don’t like roads to be numbered instead of being given a proper name. It denies any sort of world building and consistency. The same goes with the CTs and CSs: it’s unappealing, confusing and lack charm! But more importantly, I am more baffled by the concept of making animals (I mean monsters) fight each other: I don’t think it sends a good message. I don’t call myself a Pokémon hater by any means, I find the game mechanics quite fun actually, but again, it maybe is not for me.
