Maybe the controls are bit stiff, maybe IA behavior can seem erratic most of the time, maybe it’s a little bit too easy to level up, but Mystic Quest in one of the best Game Boy games! I had the pleasure to complete it again recently, and I had a really good time. The graphics are cute, the music is memorable, even though a bit repetitive and the story is engaging. I had to buy my copy again, because I lent the first one to a friend back in middle school and he never gave it back to me (Olivier, if you read me). That’s a shame since this copy doesn’t have the world map poster. Note that the game was translated in French, so its code is not FAH but FRA.
