Final Fantasy Legend II (Game Boy - Square - 1990 - USA)

When I saw this game in my local store back in the days, I was blown away by the graphics of that one screenshot at the back of the box. It kind of looked like Zelda, even before Zelda came out in Game Boy. I hesitated getting it for while, unsure about the amount of English text I wasn’t able to read, and finally bought something else instead. And I think the young me would have been really disappointed if I did so: I didn’t care about RPG and I would have been completely lost! When I had the opportunity to buy it a few years ago, I remembered that story and I wanted to make it right this time around. But I still haven’t really dive into the game, afraid of its austerity and the mandatory grinding. Maybe some other time.
