The first time I played Marble Madness, it was on Genesis. I remember being interested in its geometrical visuals, its concept and the apparent freedom in resolving the puzzles. My interest was crushed under the marble’s inertia and the sadistic level design, but it was fun nonetheless. The game was seemingly ported to every consoles and computer on the market at that time, there was no way you could avoid it. This Game Boy adaptation suffers from a classic screen crunch but is a good game overall, on the condition you play it safe and slow.
