R-Type (Game Boy - Irem - 1991 - FAH)

The other classic shmup on Game Boy offers a slower paced gameplay with nice graphics. The ship’s sprite is also fairly big, making it more vulnerable to enemy’s fire. No slowdown to be found here, but many flickers when your firepower is maxed out. R Type is not really challenging, and with only six levels, you’ll see Bydo’s empire fall pretty fast.
