Raging Fighter (Game Boy - Konami - 1993 - USA)

One of the many intents Konami made to develop a fighting game. Maybe it’s a little bit too ambitious for the Game Boy, but Raging Fighter looks good, from its nice intro to the graphics that would be more fitted on a SNES. With the limited palette, it’s hard to distinguish fighters on screen, as they all kind of look the same. The gameplay is ok, even if the action is a bit too slow and floaty. On the plus side, Raging Fighter offers a lot of options and game modes, such as a practice mode, which was quite unusual at the time. Often overlooked, Raging Fighter is a good game overall, but nothing to go crazy about.
