Samurai Shodown (Game Boy - Takara - 1995 - FAH)

Ok, now we’re talking. Back in the days, I bought this game without knowing anything about this port. I knew about the arcade version and its glorious graphics and gameplay, but I was totally surprised to see a conversion on my favorite handheld. And boy I wasn’t disappointed! This cartridge haunted my console for months: every aspect of the game is polished and it’s a real pleasure playing as Galford, my main character back then. I remember being nervous about his story because I feared something bad would happen to his dog during his ending (spoiler: the dog is fine). I’m going to put myself out there and declare that, in my opinion, Samurai Shodown’s OST is the best OST on Game Boy, period.
