Mega Man (Game Boy - Capcom - 1991 - USA)

Let’s start this week with one of my most beloved franchise! The second Game Boy installment is the first game I played in the serie, and I was blown away by it. So when I found out that there were a first episode (duh), I couldn’t help but get it right away. I was a little bit disappointed because the feeling wasn’t exactly the same, and the game was way shorter and harder. I’ll later find out that the dev team wasn’t the same. Mega Man is a good port of the NES game with its own twist. Because of the screen crunch, the level design was completely rethought, and Mega Man’s jump is shorter than his NES counterpart. A good game.
