Now it’s serious. Mega Man IV is one of the very best action game on the system. It reinvented the formula, introducing for the first time in the franchise chip currency and a shop with upgrades, it revamped the boss selection screen, it features secret paths and more. The game is also pretty lengthy, and displays gorgeous cutscenes. Heck, even its soundtrack is amazing, I prefer this version over the NES one, mostly because of the stereo sound. I have a hard deciding which Mega Man game is my favorite between IV and V, because both are still amazing to this day. If you pretend yourself a blue bomber fan, you got to play this game that has to be in anyone’s library.
