Gargoyle’s Quest (Game Boy - Capcom - 1990 - FAH)

What a masterpiece for such an early title! Gargoyle’s Quest succeed in mixing different genre into one excellent title, at a time when it was way more easy to develop yet another puzzle game. I didn’t get this game back then, I was discouraged by the amount of English texts on screen and my then inability to read them. Many years later, I could get my hands on it and I was surprised by the difficulty level: I thought it was a game for kids. Unfortunately we didn’t get the second installement on Game Boy, it remained a Japan exclusive, but we did got it on NES. Anyway, Gargoyle’s Quest is a staple of the Game Boy library.
