One of my childhood favorite! This cute little platform game is maybe a bit simple, but I can’t resist the appeal of riding dinosaurs. I also love the world map, reminiscent of the Super Mario Bros serie. The game is filled with secret paths and hidden bonus, and I absolutely dig the inventory system at the beginning of each level: it invites you to carefully manage your resources for later. And look at the cover design! I’m glad we Europeans had the same illustration as the Japanese version. On the other hand, I don’t really like the stamina system of the character, I feel like I’m being constantly pushed forward, unable to explore. Anyway, a good game with an upbeat soundtrack.
