I’ve been given this game as a present for my tenth or eleventh birthday by some classmates. I was stunned to get a new game from kids my age, at a time when getting a new game was rare, maybe twice or thrice a year. We were close friends for sure, but I would never expected that from them. I was so grateful even though I thought the game was kind of a let down. It is a ruthless unfriendly puzzle game with tons of content. This game is ugly as hell and the music is always the same all game long. I’ve tried to watch speedruns of Boxxle once but failed: they were at least 4 hours long. A SPEEDRUN. Nice anecdote, the kid who offered me this game is now one of France most well-known journalist nowadays, Fabrice Arfi.
