Street Racer (Game Boy - Vivid Image - 1996 - EUR)

Since the Game Boy can’t handle the famous SNES’s mode 7 (well, not officially), Street Racer use a more traditional scaling effect, and unfortunately that flatten the frenzy gameplay of the home console versions. Despite this, the animation is quite good and the game retains the look and feeling of the original version, but I find graphics a bit too detailed, especially the racing tracks that are way too dark. A fun racing game anyway, but way below its potential.
