Burai Fighter Deluxe (Game Boy - Taxan - 1990 - FAH)

Here it is, the very first game I ever bought on my own. I remember exactly where I bought it: it was in a mall near home, in a toy store with a dedicated video games area. I could have choose Super Mario Land or any other classic but when I saw this wonderful cover illustration, I knew Burai Fighter was the one for me. I didn’t knew what the game was about or even if it was any good, but the power of this drawing attracted me so much I couldn’t buy anything else. To this day, Burai Fighter’s illustration remains my favorite game cover ever. I remember the game being extremely hard for the kid I was, but with perseverance and a lack of other games to play, I eventually beat it. I have a fond memory of this decent shooting game, maybe I should give it another go someday. And the music is fantastic, too.
